Views on the D’Hub Challenge’s impact locally and globally:

I believe the D’Hub Challenge represents an important pioneering step in helping to further build ICT capacity within Trinidad and Tobago as an aid to local economic diversification and the provision of more efficient government services focused on enhancing citizen well-being.

Mr Thomas currently functions as a Systems Analyst within the Immigration Division’s Information Technology Department with duties in the spheres of systems administration and maintenance as well as database administration. He also has a background in web design and administration. Mr Thomas is the holder of bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the U.W.I. and Andrews University, Michigan USA, respectively.

Insights on the judging process:


Given that this is a pioneering effort, I believe strong efforts were made to ensure that the judging effort was fair and transparent. The MDT team also seemed keen on receiving feedback on ways to improve all aspects of this endeavor.
