Shemelle Paradice is a dynamic Communications and Marketing professional, and currently holds the position of Manager, Communications at the Ministry of Health. Her role at the Ministry is keenly focused on developing behaviour change communications strategies aimed at fostering a culture towards healthy lifestyles among the population. Shemelle’s journey in the field of Communications began as a natural evolution of her lifelong love for writing and an innate passion for storytelling. In 2009, Shemelle kick started her professional journey as a Reporter with the Newsday newspaper, and by 2012, she transitioned into the realm of Public Relations, Marketing, and Communications, showcasing her versatility by working across diverse sectors such as oil and gas, finance, child protection and technology. Shemelle holds an International Master in Business Administration, specializing in Strategy & Competitiveness, from the Arthur Lok Jack Global School of Business and a Bachelor’s of Arts in Media and Communications from the University of Greenwich, laying the foundation for her career in the industry. Beyond the confines of her professional duties, Shemelle channels her commitment by actively volunteering with NGOs focused on advocating for children’s rights and protection.
