Use of Innovation Spaces

Booking Options

Individual Use:

  • Only D’Hub Challenge participantsand pre-approved members working on innovative projects are eligible to book the Innovation Space.
  • A maximum of 3 individuals can book the Tech Lab at the same time.

Group Use:

  • Collaborate as a team! Groups of 2-6 membersare allowed to book sessions in the Tech Lab for collaborative work.
  • Access is only available to groups comprising D’Hub Challenge participants or pre-approved members.
  • Access to a separate conference room is not availableat this time.

 

Eligibility:

  • Users must meet specific criteria to book the Tech Lab.
  • If working on a pre-approved project, users must provide details about their project during the booking request process for admin review and approval.
  • Bookings will go through a semi-automatic processwhere an initial filter will ensure eligibility based on set criteria. Admins will still have the ability to manually review, confirm, or edit bookings when necessary.

 

Usage Limits:

  • All Bookings are currently limited to two (2) days per monthitemized by the IDB per individual or group.
  • To ensure fairness, users are encouraged not to book excessive hours, allowing others equal access.

 

Session Durations

  • Sessions can be booked in 1-hour incrementsand are limited to a maximum of 3 hours per session.

 

Cancellation Policy

  • If you need to cancel your booking, please do so as early as possible to allow others to secure the slot.

Fair Access for All

Community Spirit:

  • Be considerate of other users and give everyone a fair chance to use the Innovation Space.

Feedback is Key:

  • Experiencing difficulty securing time slots? Let us know! Continuous feedback helps us refine the system.

Monitoring Usage Patterns:

  • Admins will track booking and usage trends. Adjustments may be made to maintain fair access for all users.

 

Enjoy the Space Responsibly

Respectful Use:

  • Treat the space, equipment, and other users with respect. Keep noise levels appropriate for a collaborative environment.

Tidy Up:

  • Maintain a clean workspace by tidying up before you leave. This ensures the space remains welcoming for the next user.

Equipment Guidelines:

  • Use equipment provided in the Tech Lab responsibly and report any issues or malfunctions to the D’Hub Support Team. Follow all instructions provided by the Tech Lab facilitators.

Timely Wrap-Up:

  • End your session on time to respect the bookings of other users.

Refreshments:

  • If you bring snacks or drinks, ensure they are consumed only in designated areas and that all waste is properly disposed of.
